Summer 2012 Kampin’ Details

Another successful planning session lead to what seems like one of the most kick ass trips ever.  The key change this year is that for one trip only we all agreed that we cannot have a meal that we already had on a past trip.  It was hard to pass on Tom’s prime rib or Matt’s original KBS but it will surely yield a new set of bad ass meals.

New this year is Otte’s century club.  This years club will be held Friday afternoon.  Here are the details:

  1. Each contestant must consume 1 shot of beer a minute for 100 minutes. 
  2. If you miss a shot you have to start over or quit.
  3. Night Train Rule: If night train comes on you do not have to do shots during the entire song but you must participate in chugging the train.  After the song you get a 2 minute rest period the the shots resume where they were left off.
  4. Beer of you choice as long is greater than 4% alcohol.

So far Lance and Otte and signed up for the contest and Matt had volunteered to be the judge and timer.

Kampers: Mike, Tom, Otte, Lance and Matt have all committed to first shift.  Paul and Jeremy have eluded to a late arrival.  Homey doll said he retired like Brent.

Thursday
 
6:00am 1st Shift kampers arrive at Matt’s house.
6:00am Gear check and pack the car.
7:00am Shopping
8:00am Official 1st shift departure.
8:00am Drive to kamp and get a meal at a local shithole.  Possible stop for local cheese curds.
12:30pm Arrival.
7:00pm Dinner – Deep dish Meatza prepared with love by Tom.
   
Friday
 
7:00am Breakfast – Kampin’ Skillet – Including but not limited to eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, cheese, and corn beef hash prepared by Matt.
1:00pm Nibblers – Deep fried jumbo shrimp and bacon wrapped local cheese curds prepared by Paul.
2:00pm Otte’s Century Club.
7:00pm Homo Formal Dinner Night - Chianti-braised short ribs with portobello risotto. For dessert we will have creme brulee. All prepared by Mike.

This meal requires formal dress and will be held and the table.
   
Saturday 
 
7:00am Breakfast –Pankegg with Bacon and sausage prepared  by Tom.
1:00pm Nibblers – Meat kabobs prepared by Lance.
7:00pm Dinner – Otte’s Juicy Meat with mashed potatoes and sweet corn.  Sweet corn is prepared by Lance.
   
Sunday
