I had a merry Kampin X-Mas because Julie bought be some sweet ass walkie talkies.
They have a 35 mile range and come with gay headsets and belt clips. These will come in handy when Brent and others need a ride or help and we do not respond because we are too drunk!
I got a text from homey doll with some predictions for Kampin’ 010. Here is what he said:

So this is the biggest year for deposits and we had the biggest Kampin’ planning meeting ever but at the end of the day people always puss out. So take some time to pick who you think will go this year.

Once again we have come up with an awesome menu but for this menu to be historic a few things have to happen.
The council of elders met along will the other potential kampers and we have finalized details for Kampin’ 010.

The main shift will leave at 12:01 am on Thursday June 10th with an estimated arrival between 9am and 10 am on the same day.
1st Recon team (Mike) is planning to leave on Monday the 7th
Bravo boat team (Tom) will rendezvous with Mike on Tuesday or Wednesday (8th or 9th).

He is pissed this time because he gets constantly overlooked. He was the real crasher at the white house event but no one has even taken notice. He sent me this picture to prove it.
He also said he is a strong maybe for Kampin 010 because it is pretty far away and he is still mad we set him on fire.
Kampinmofos has commissioned the Official Kampin’ Knife.
It’s design features a seven inch titanium blade with full tang and black phenolic grips. Each Kampin’ knife is individually numbered and personalized. The first 3 are under construction for Summer Kampin’ 2010.
Must have whet straight to DVD. Maybe if Bo Derek brings a genny to Kampin we can have a showing….
I just talked to Webster (not Emanuel) and they told me that it is official and that Kampin is now a proper noun. Therefore when you use it be sure to capitalize the K.
I was thinking about the things that make Kampin food better and that is of course butter (Especially Squeezable) and bacon (American) and wondered who would win in a battle for deliciousness?
So if you could cook with only butter or bacon when Kampin what would it be? Comment…

1St Recon has some preliminaries on the location for summer and are as follows:
1) Very close to Canada, be aware of people selling “Canadian Bacon”.
2) We might see some Indians since there are several reservations nearby.
3) We might want to Kamp somewhere on “Beast Lake”, because it sounds awesome.
After 1st Recon arrives, we (I) will transmit the coordinates for the LZ.
Out of nowhere Brent comes out of retirement with a bang. He has proposed a big kampin’ trip and it looks like most people are game. He is proposing a trip to Voyageurs National Park and most are game. (except maybe Bo-Derek, because he has to paint his ladies toes) If this happens this will be the longest trip we have ever taken and we may even catch a fish. I am sure glad I have saved that Babe Winkelman lure from 1975, I will use this lure exclusively for any fishing I do.
The council of elders has decided that we should have an early kampin’ plannin’ meeting to hear this proposal. Details on the meeting should be out shortly. There has however been some early statements from the council of elders:
Mike – If Brent backs out he will be the exotic meat on Saturday night.
Lance - Kampin' in Minnessota? We'll need deposits and some sort of penance.
In case you were wondering Brent is like Jay-Z because he keeps claiming retirement from kampin’ yet he comes back all the time.

The other day Jimmy Dean contacted me about adding the KBS to their line up of breakfast sandwiches. They offered 1.6 trillion dollars over 10 years for the recipe. I told them to f-off and that if anyone wants the KBS in their belly they will need to come Kampin!

As the most senior member in the Council of Elders I herby move to recount the Kampin’ Pussy Vote for years 2005 & 2006 due to recent bouts of valor and non-Kampin’ Pussy behavior….

This trip the council of elders was formed. The mission of the council is to govern all the Kampin’ trips, assure that the trips are attended by deserving guests and assure that each trip maintains the specific standards.
3 Voting Members:
Matt – Not the oldest council member but has been on every trip.
Lance has been on all trips but one and will eat most anything.
Mike – the oldest council member has been on all the trips except one.
To be on the council you must have been on at least 10 trips without out a 2 year lapse. You also need to be nominated by a majority of the existing council.

The KBS is clearly the best Kampin’ meal ever. I also like that only the Council of Elders (Matt, Mike and Lance) has ever had them.
This Sandwich fills you up for hours and Lance ate 2 in a matter of minutes!

We didn’t have much down time during Fall Kampin’ 2009 to capture our experiences on video. We were too busy battling the forces of nature (we of course won that fight). Matt managed to capture a candid discussion as to what we would eat during our victory feast….Stupid Nature….
Lance wanted field stitches, but we insisted that he get them done by a professional….We told him that you never know if you will be on the cover of Kampin’ Hunk Monthly, and need to look good….
Lance declined the local anesthesia, but the Doctor said it was hospital policy….Stupid hospital policy…
Matt got a sweet new torch that he put to use during kampin’ to “whip” rope ends….
