What if Night Train comes on while working…

I was working today and was listening to my super ‘gay’ iphone and the song Night Train came on.  I was at a loss, I did not know what to do…  I had no train handy and drinkin’ at work is probably a bad idea.  So what do you think I should have done:

We can finally rest comfortably while Kampin’ this year knowing we all will have quality health coverage.  In the past we used to bring expired Benadryl shots and IVs with us because we were worried that if we got hurt we would not be covered.  For example last year when Lance split his head open I was worried that I would not be able to eat my franks and beans  prior to going to the hospital.  Poor Lance had to let his hat soak up the blood until we finished lunch and sobered up enough to go the the hospital.  This year we will not have those worries.  In fact I was going to buy a first aid kit but now have no plans to do that.  Ahh Karefree Kampin’.

Here is an example of some of the stuff we do that we no longer need to worry about.

 

P.S. Homey Doll is pissed because the bill has no specifics around puncture wounds or burns.

OKK Update Bitches….

The OKK’s came back from heat treatment and temper.  They are at a nice 60 Rockwell C Hardness.  Next up:  Handle manufacture, final polish, laser marking serial numbers and the names of the Kampin’ Elders, passivation of the blade (rust proofing), and then final sharpening…….

Solution to the “Train Dilema”

Train Dilemma…

Each year as Kampin’ approaches I stock up on Night Train for the trip.  If you are a complete dumb ass, Night Train is the finest of fine wines. http://www.bumwine.com/nighttrain.html 

The Dilemma is how much to purchase.  With costs now approaching $3 a bottle you do not want to blow the budget but you certainly do not want to run out!  This year the dilemma is worse because of how far north we are going.

Up at Voyageurs National park the sun will rise between 5 and 5:30 am and set between 9:30 and 10pm leaving a short 7 hours for the Train to officially run.  And lets be honest as we all get old 10pm is pushing our bed time.  During fall kampin’ the train can make an appearance as early as 7pm.  We may have to start allowing the train to run during day time hours…

After careful study I have figured out an equation on how much train to get.

(# of night time hours * (# of Kampers * Puss Out Ratio)) /# times Homey takes a fake chug

Then divide that by

(Pi * # days before Kampin’ that Brent tell us he is not going) – the $ size of Bo Derek’s next deal at work that he will use as an excuse not to go

Finally take that result and subtract it from Linda Carters bra size or the size of her last IBS dump (which ever is bigger).

This year the answer came to, exactly, a mother fuckin’ lot…

< 100 Days…

Folks we are at 98 days and counting until Kampin 2010.  The deposit status has not changed but Jimbo did give me a ‘I might be able to make it’ and Lance is thinking about first shift so he can get his OKK early.

Spoke with Homey Doll and he is also ready.  He said he is happy because we will be close to water in case he catches fire again.  He however did not like seeing the OKK as he is worried that his stomach will get to check out the end of the blade.
