OKK Phase 1 is Complete Bitches….

This morning, as OKK #3 was completing its machining, we passed a great moment in Kampin’ history.  We are one step closer to completion of the greatest Kampin’ Knife ever.  The name of the knife will be called the Aculeus-S^TM:  It is a 7" spear point blade with full tang and polycarbonate handles.  Blade and tang are one-piece construction from 440C Stainless Steel.

The knives will head out for heat treatment and temper.  They will be heat treated to 60Hrc (Rockwell C Scale), at 1040°C then oil quenched and tempered at 300°C.

Handles and sharpening will come next…….

Rumor has it, there may be an OKK#4……
